My work with The Chef Stage has taken me behind the scenes with some of Scotland’s most passionate producers and chefs. From Scratch has grown from there — helping those same businesses turn their story into a brand that sells.
FAQ
How long does it take to complete? Most projects take around 2–3 weeks from start to launch, depending on feedback and content readiness. You’ll get a clear timeline at the start and regular updates throughout.
Do I need to have everything ready before we start? Not necessarily, but the more you have the better. The first step is the Strategy & Story Session, which helps define what we’ll need together — from copy to photos. You’ll get simple checklists so nothing feels overwhelming.
What platform will my website be built on? Your site will be built on Shopify — reliable, simple, and easy to manage yourself.
What if I already have photography or branding? That’s great, we’ll use what works and fill in any gaps. The goal is consistency, not starting over.
Can we add extra pages, photos, or features later? Yes. Launch From Scratch gives you a solid foundation, but it’s designed to grow with you. You can easily expand as your business evolves.
Do you offer payment plans? Payments will be split into two stages: 50% upfront to begin the project and 50% upon completion. This keeps things simple and fair for both sides.
What happens after the project launches? You’ll receive a full handover and launch roadmap so you know exactly what to do next.
Is this right for me if I’m just starting out? If you’ve already developed your product and are ready to grow your presence, absolutely. This is made for small, ambitious food and drink brands looking to sell online properly.
What if I’m not in Scotland? That’s fine! We love to work with brands beyond Scotland — and in-person services can be adapted or swapped for existing imagery or consultation.
